gw masih perlu post berita keuangan Glazers/United di trit ga sih ?
Tujuannya kan sharing info sesama fans aja, paling nggak ada gambaran tentang kondisi finansial United, mengurangi salah info dll.

Butuh waktu lumayan untuk translate & post ke bahasa yang sebisa mungkin gw robah jadi lebih eyes friendly.

Dear Mr. Brewin, The interest figures released in the recent accounts are only for the Senior Debt Facility and does not take into account the Payment In Kind interest (PIK, which is held on Red Football Joint Venture (RFJV) and not on the balance sheet of the club) which to my calculation is approximately 29million and if you add that to the 44 million from the Senior Debt Facility interest, it's a staggering 73 million which approximates Ronaldo's sale price. I believe in Rooney's initial comment that David Gill could not commit to anything, and if you look at it, Sir Alex did not deny Rooney's initial comment but decided to have a meeting with DG to clear it up, thus it make sense that Rooney is the one in the right. Based on my interest calculation of 73million (senior debt + PIK), it would mean that RFJV would make a loss of 109million after interest before tax, and I could understand why DG could not offer Rooney a better contract and promise him any new signing which forced him into making his statement. The new contract and so called promise of signings could only mean more debt and that's a huge worry which comes at a price of keeping Rooney. Honestly, I do not know whether to be happy or sad. Glazers punya 2 jenis utang.

1 = Utang 500jt dengan jaminan asset klub yang awal taon kemaren udah diconvert jadi bond/obligasi itu <-- masuk ke laporan keuangan klub

2 = Utang jaminan pribadi (PIK) 250jt an yg ga masuk ke laporan keuangan klub.


So,
Bunga bond (Senior debt mentioned above) is estimated @ 44 mill ditambah bunga PIK yang estimated @ 29 mill = 73 mill, which is too close to CR sales money. Itu penulis surat diatas berpikir bahwa untuk bayar bunga aja udah membuat United ngos ngosan, thus contract baru Roo + promise of new signings akan membuat utang United jadi makin gila.

That's it in a nutshell.


Then again, from what I've read di CAF + Andersred blog, kayaknya ada slight miscalculation di premise yang dipake penulis surat diatas.
AFAIK, Glazers ga bisa seenaknya narik duit United untuk bayarin PIK mereka. Klausul di penjualan obligasi itu membatasi hak mereka untuk narik duit cash dari United sampai ke maximal 70jt an kalo ga salah inget (ini diluar dividend profit klub loh yah). They haven't exercise this right sampai dengan latest financial statements.

So as it stands now:
1) United memang kebagian beban bayar bunga obligasi 500jt dengan bunga 10% - 12,5% pa itu, yang akan jatuh tempo 2017 nanti.
Menurut gw sih, saat jatuh tempo kemungkinan besar paling cuman issue new bonds to replace the expired bonds, trus ambil duit club untuk bayar bunga dari expired bonds <-- seinget gw bunga bonds itu akan dibayar sekaligus pas jatuh tempo 2017 nanti, bukan dibayar per tahun.

2) PIK 200jt an tetap jadi beban Glazers untuk bayar, mereka harus puter otak nyari duit diluar income stream atas nama United untuk bayar utang ini.
Satu satunya hak mereka untuk tarik duit dari klub adalah klausul yg gw sebutin diatas itu, bisa narik duit sampai 70 jt an.

Bacanya ngeri Di, tapi penjelasannya di om rudy udah mengcover semua, cm mau nambahin, jadi ada bunga "tidak terlampir di neraca united" karena ada PIK itu karena itu bukan tanggungan United (secara buku akunting) tapi secara finansial itu merupakan tanggunan united, jadi kalo united release financial report, tambahin aja ruginya dengan beban bunga yg di daftar di RFJV... around 29 mil

Shit....bayangin kalo gue punya utang segitu.......
